Blind Assessment

Crisply dry, delicately complex. Ripe lemon, lilac-like flowers, honey, grape, a hint of baker’s chocolate in aroma and cup. Gently tart acidity; lightly syrupy mouthfeel. Flavor carries with little loss of complexity into a long, impressive finish.

Notes

The Karogoto wet mill processes coffee from the South Kirimukuyu Farmers’ Cooperative Society, which includes about 800 members, all smallholders averaging only 250 coffee trees per farm. Despite grower discontent and urban encroachment on prime coffee lands, Kenya continues to produce some of the world's most elegant and distinctive coffees. Papa Lin's Coffee Roasting is a very small, “nano” roaster located in Yorktown Heights, New York that features customized roasting profiles for every customer. Visit www.papalins.com for more information.

Who Should Drink It

Lovers of dry but gently fragrant white table wines.
