Blind Assessment

Pungent dry berry and sweet, fragrant flowers in aroma and cup. Rich, deep acidity; silky mouthfeel. Flavor consolidates but retains richness in a gently drying finish.

Notes

Produced from trees both of the admired, Bourbon-derived SL 28 as well as the hybrid Ruiru 11 varieties by members of the Ruthaka Cooperative. Despite grower discontent and urban encroachment on prime coffee lands, Kenya continues to produce some of the world's most elegant and distinctive coffees.
