Blind Assessment
Currant-toned, exuberantly floral. Red currant, violet, brown sugar, clove, black licorice in aroma and cup. Sweetly tart structure with bold, juicy acidity; rounded, syrupy mouthfeel. Finish consolidates to notes of red currant and black licorice.
Notes
Produced by smallholding members of the Gititu Farmers’ Cooperative Society, from trees of the SL-28 and SL-34 varieties of Arabica, and processed by the traditional washed method (fruit skin and pulp removed before drying). Visit shopee.tw/zengkaochen for more information.
Bottom Line
A lively and fruit-charged Kenya, driven by vivid currant flavors, floral intensity, and a deep, spicy finish.
