Blind Assessment

Crisp and complexly cocoa-toned in aroma and cup, with a tart, pungent berry complication and a hint of lilyish flowers. Bright acidity; light but very silky mouthfeel. Clean, dry, cocoa-toned finish.

Notes

Despite grower discontent and sporadic social disorder, Kenya continues to produce some of the world's most elegant and distinctive coffees. This lot was produced mainly from trees of Kenya’s two premier varieties of Arabica, the Bourbon-related SL28 and SL34.
