Blind Assessment
Syrupy mouthfeel, quietly vibrant acidity. Fir, molasses, orange zest, lush night-blooming flowers in aroma and cup. Flavor quiets and consolidates in a long, resonant finish.
Notes
This lot is comprised entirely of the Pacas variety of Arabica, a dwarf selection of the heirloom Bourbon variety. A coffee from Bertilio Portillo’s farm won the Cup of Excellence juried competition for Honduras green coffees in 2009.
