Blind Assessment: Delicately and richly pungent. Orange zest, rooibos, narcissus-like flowers and baker’s chocolate in aroma and cup. Richly brisk acidity; lightly velvety mouthfeel. Smooth, richly drying finish infused with cocoa and citrus notes.
Notes: This blend is composed of three distinguished coffees: wet-processed or “washed” Honduras micro-lots purchased at the Capucas Cooperative Competition; a wet-processed Kenya Kinuyu, and a dried-in-the-fruit or “natural” Ethiopia Yirgacheffe from the Bank Cooperative. Olympia Coffee Roasting is a small-batch wholesale and retail roasting company with a youthful, no-nonsense style and a commitment to high-quality organic coffees. Who Should Drink It: Those looking for a balanced, engaging and complexly layered blend with a persuasively holiday-themed set of flavor notes.
