Blind Assessment: Intricately sweet, roundly spicy. Almond butter, white tea, orange zest, honeydew melon in aroma and cup. Delicate, juicy acidity; viscous, velvety mouthfeel. Richly drying, zesty, spicy-sweet finish.
Notes: This blend is composed of wet-processed or “washed” coffee from Tolima, Colombia and both a washed and a dried-in-the-fruit or “natural” coffee from southern Ethiopia. Established in 2010, Red Rooster is an organic-certified micro-roaster focusing on socially conscious coffee and high-quality coffee. Who Should Drink It: An appealingly dynamic, sweetly spicy holiday blend at an excellent price.
