Exceptionally balanced, elegant, resonantly spice-toned. Red currant, butterscotch, hazelnut butter, honeysuckle, sandalwood in aroma and cup. Sweet-toned structure with sweetly tart, vivacious acidity; lively, creamy-smooth mouthfeel. The long, resonant finish carries over all the aromas and flavors of the cup.
This exceptional coffee was selected as the No. 2 coffee on Coffee Review’s list of the Top 30 Coffees of 2022. Produced by Arturo Aguirre of El Injerto Farm entirely of the very rare, tiny-beaned Mocca variety of Arabica, and processed by the traditional washed method (fruit skin and flesh are removed from the beans before they are dried). Kakalove Café is a nano-roaster located in the small city of Chia-Yi in Taiwan that strives to procure and roast the finest quality coffee. A vivid, lyrical washed Guatemala Mocca with layers of complexity, satisfying depth, and rich, balanced resonance that carries far into the finish — a thoroughly complete cup.
