Blind Assessment: Evaluated as espresso. In the small cup both Ken (91) and his co-taster (92) admired the bright, refreshing fruit (strawberry in particular) rounded by a fudgy chocolate, an impressively syrupy mouthfeel, and a flavor-saturated but clean finish. Vivacious in three parts milk: orange zest and caramel.
Notes: Revel Coffee is a micro-roaster located in Billings, Montana. Its motto: “Quality is paramount - a difference you can revel in.” Visit www.revelcoffee.com or call 406-534-9621 for more information.
Who Should Drink It : Those who enjoy a brightly fruit-toned but chocolaty straight shot with full, syrupy mouthfeel. Retains character well in cappuccino-sized milk.
