Blind Assessment: Simple but classically appealing coffee. High-toned, sweetly spicy aroma with tight-knit suggestions of flowers, chocolate and sweet tomato that amplify in the richly acidy cup. The finish stays on the roundly hearty side of astringent.
Notes: Antigua, from the valley surrounding the colonial town of Guatemala Antigua, is Guatemala's most celebrated coffee origin. Reading Coffee Roasters specializes in "gourmet coffees medium roasted the old fashioned European way - Never bitter or burnt!" according to its website. Visit
