Blind Assessment: Crisply sweet, gently resonant. Freesia, apricot, pistachio, maple syrup, cedar in aroma and cup. Sweetly savory structure with round acidity; full, syrupy mouthfeel. The finish consolidates to notes of apricot and pistachio.
Notes: Comprised entirely of the Geisha variety of Arabica and processed by the washed method (fruit skin and pulp are removed before drying). Sunny’s Coffee is a café and roastery in the Tochigi Prefecture specializing in craft-roasted coffees and house-made food. Visit https://sunnyscoffee.thebase.in/ for more information.
The Bottom Line : A satisfying, richly sweet Guatemala Geisha cup with spice-toned floral and stone fruit notes supported by sweet, pistachio-like nut.
