Blind Assessment

Tart, pungent, juicy. Honey, meadowy flowers, date, tangerine in aroma and in a particularly complex cup. Rich, juicy acidity; lively, lightly syrupy mouthfeel. Flavor persists in a deep, gently drying finish.

Notes

Grown by the Kenyan Gaturiri Cooperative, this coffee consists entirely of coffee from trees of the much-admired Bourbon-derived hybrid varieties SL 28, and SL 34. Mountain Air Roasting is a micro-roaster of specialty coffees based in Asheville, North Carolina whose straightforward mission is producing the best cup of coffee, every morning. Those who enjoy the richly bright, juicy side of the great Kenya cup.
