Blind Assessment

Light roasting foregrounds the nut and lemon-orange character with a backgrounded spicy rose note. At its most complex in the aroma, where the nut displays a cocoa-like crispness and the rose is particularly deep and spice-toned. Balanced, buoyant acidity, silky mouthfeel. The nut note carries into a rich though rather simple finish.

Notes

Certified organically grown by the Layo Teraga Cooperative. Southern Ethiopia produces often distinctively floral- and fruit-toned coffees from traditional varieties of Arabica long grown in the region. When processed by the wet or washed method (fruit skin and pulp is removed before drying) these coffee typically express great aromatic complexity and intensity with a particular emphasis on citrus and floral notes. Based in southern Oregon, Noble Coffee is a wholesale and retail roasting company focused on quality, social responsibility and environmental consciousness. Who Should Drink It

Those who enjoy lighter-roasted versions of the world’s great origins. The orangy citrus and rose notes should please everyone. The nut note may strike some as just a touch too raw.
