Blind Assessment

Cocoa-centric, gently spice-toned. Baking chocolate, pink peppercorn, orange blossom, dried blueberry, oak in aroma and cup. Sweetly savory with gently tart acidity; silky-smooth mouthfeel. Crisply chocolaty finish with undertones of dried blueberry.

Notes

Produced by smallholding farmers of the Gedeb and Halo Bariti cooperatives from selections of indigenous landrace varieties of Arabica long grown in the region, and processed by the natural method (dried in the whole fruit). Founded by Brad Katz, a music lover and home coffee roaster, Bassline Coffee aims to offer something for every kind of coffee lover with roasts that bring out the inherent qualities of diverse green coffees. Visit www.basslinecoffee.com for more information.

Bottom Line

A multi-layered Ethiopia natural, vibrantly spice-toned and sweetly floral.
