Stone Cup Roasting
|Roaster Location:||Chattanooga, Tennessee|
|Coffee Origin:||Yirgacheffe growing region, Sidamo Province, southern Ethiopia.|
|Review Date:||April 2008|
Blind Assessment: Exhilarating, fresh-toned aroma: jasmine, sweet herbs. In the cup crisply sweet-toned acidity, medium body, continued flowers, sweet herb and a tingly, cocoa-toned chocolate. Deep, flower-saturated finish.
Notes: Their tendency to high-toned floral and citrus sweetness has made the wet-processed coffees of the Yirgacheffe region, a lush range of hills in southern Ethiopia, among the world's most distinctive. Who Should Drink It: A classically lyric Yirgacheffe with a particularly fresh, meadowy lilt to the flowers. As breakfast cup, both distinctive and accessible.
