Blind Assessment

Crisply sweet, exhilaratingly complex. Peach, mint, lily, roasted cacao nib, a hint of rye whisky in aroma and cup. The acidity is breathtakingly sweet and buoyantly light-footed; the mouthfeel full but lively. Flavor consolidates but rings on in a long, gentle finish.

Notes

This exceptional coffee was selected as the #18 coffee on Coffee Review’s ranking of the Top 30 Coffees of 2014.  This Yirgacheffe is an extraordinarily refined version of a dry-processed or "natural" coffee, meaning the beans were dried inside the fruit rather than after the fruit has been removed, as is the case with wet-processed or "washed" coffees. Ninety Plus is a very distinguished boutique producer and importer of innovative small-lot coffees from Ethiopia and Panama. Namusairo is a small-batch specialty roaster based in Seoul, South Korea, specializing in very high-end micro-lots with an emphasis on sustainable practices and unique flavors. Visit www.namusairo.com or call + 82-10-3383-5717 for more information.

Who Should Drink It

Striking coffee, both in the balance, sweetness and completeness of its structure as well as in its exhilarating range of sensory suggestion.
