Blind Assessment: Elegant, high-toned, complex. Apricot, narcissus, lime, almond brittle, lemon balm in aroma and cup. Sweet-savory structure with juicy, bright acidity; plush, syrupy mouthfeel. The finish centers around notes of apricot and narcissus with undertones of almond brittle.
Notes: Produced by the Hassen family at their estate farm in the Guji Zone from distinctive traditional varieties of Arabica long grown in the region. Processed by the wet or washed method (fruit skin and pulp are removed before drying). Established in 2010, Red Rooster is an organic-certified micro-roaster focusing on socially conscious coffee and high-quality coffee. The Bottom Line: A delicate, confident, multi-layered Ethiopia cup that delivers stone fruit, deep florals, and juicy-bright acidity.
