Blind Assessment

Brightly sweet-tart, rich-toned. Blackberry, hazelnut, lavender, dark chocolate, cedar in aroma and cup. Delicately high-toned acidity; full, syrupy mouthfeel. Resonant finish centered around notes of lavender and dark chocolate.

Notes

Southern Ethiopia coffees like this one are largely produced from distinctive indigenous Ethiopia landrace varieties of Arabica long grown in the region. Processed by the washed method (fruit skin and flesh are removed from the beans before they are dried). Heat Coffee is a nano-roaster in Taipei, Taiwan that strives to procure and roast the finest-quality coffee. Visit the www.facebook.com/heatcoffee768 for more information.

Bottom Line

Aromatically complex and deep throughout the cup with notes of dark chocolate, tart berries and spice-toned florals.
