Blind Assessment: Evaluated as espresso. Elegant aroma: milk chocolate, toasted nuts and rose-like flowers. Creamy, rich mouthfeel. Milk chocolate deepens to dark chocolate and the rose-like flowers to lavender in the small cup with complications of cedar and stone fruit. Hints of all carry into to a long, resonant finish. Flavor softens but maintains presence well in two parts milk.
Notes: A blend of Sumatra Aceh Gold, Ethiopia Yirgacheffe and Guatemala Huehuetenango coffees. Paradise Roasters prides itself on roasting and shipping coffee only after orders are placed. Its metaphoric mission is to bring some paradisiacal warmth from the coffee-growing south to the cool environs of Minnesota. Visit www.paradiseroasters.com or call 763-433-0626 for more information.
Who Should Drink It: Surprisingly fruity for its darkish roast level; should hold up very well in latte-sized milk drinks.
