Blind Assessment

Notes of sweet nut, caramel and aromatic wood in aroma and cup. Full body, syrupy mouthfeel and a finish enlivened by a bitter-edged chocolate and more aromatic wood.

Notes

A blend named after a family patriarch, Ernesto’s Espresso is, as the name suggests, intended to be brewed as espresso. Building on six generations of coffee production in Brazil, Nossa Familia is an Oregon-based roaster focused on importing coffee from the family’s farms. Visit www.nossacoffee.com or call 503-719-6605 for more information.

Who Should Drink It

Although evaluated as a standard brewed coffee, this blend displays the rounded acidity, full body and aromatic wood notes that play well in espresso brewing.
