Blind Assessment: Evaluated as a sample-roasted green coffee. Bright, sweet, delicately fruit-forward. Freesia, apricot, pink grapefruit zest, marjoram, hazelnut in aroma and cup. Sweet-toned structure with juicy, balanced acidity; satiny-smooth mouthfeel. Sweetly nutty finish supported by notes of apricot and marjoram.
Notes: Supplied as a green (unroasted) coffee. Roasted for evaluation purposes by Coffee Review on an ARC S sample roaster. Note that this coffee roasted on other equipment using different parameters may net a different sensory profile than described in this review. Also note that this rating is on the Coffee Review scale, judging this coffee from the point of view of potential consumer acceptance as a finished product. Produced at El Vergel Estate by Elias and Shady Bayter from trees of the Gesha variety, and processed by the fermented natural method.
