Blind Assessment: Sweetly tart, wine-toned fruit dominates in aroma and cup, with hints of pungent cedar and crisp cocoa. Gently bright, wine-like acidity; plush mouthfeel. Rich and sweet in the short finish; rather drying in the long.
Notes: El Majahual is a small farm in the Los Naranjos growing region planted almost entirely with older trees of the heirloom Bourbon variety of Arabica. Vertigo Coffee is a roaster with one retail café located in picturesque San Juan Bautista, California. Visit
Who Should Drink It: Lovers of good port wines.
