Blind Assessment: Round, very sweet, suavely balanced. Pluot, roasted cacao nib, brown sugar, violet-like flowers in aroma and cup. Round, juicy acidity; full, syrupy mouthfeel. Cacao nib and brown sugar in particular carry into an ongoing sweet, resonant finish.
Notes: Produced entirely from trees of the heirloom Bourbon variety of Arabica. The Dukorere Ikawa Cooperative in comprised of three-hundred members. Who Should Drink It: Those who value juicy sweetness, syrupy mouthfeel and graceful balance in a very clean Burundi.
