Blind Assessment: Delicate, deeply and crisply sweet. Honey, black cherry, macadamia nut, hints of rose-like flowers in aroma and cup. Soft, juicy acidity; satiny mouthfeel. Honey, nut and black cherry carry into a richly drying, balanced finish.
Notes: From an admired growing region in the southernmost Colombia Department of Nariño. Counter Culture is a specialty roaster with an informative and lively website, a commitment to fine coffee, direct relationships with growers, transparency, and youthful, enthusiastic leadership. The Bottom Line : A delicate, honeyish Colombia, balanced and pretty.
