Delicately sweet, richly spice-toned. Apricot, clove, magnolia, hazelnut, cocoa nib in aroma and cup. Sweet-tart structure with brisk acidity; full, satiny-smooth mouthfeel. Apricot and hazelnut lead in the crisp, clean finish.
Produced by the Ureñas Family of Finca El Desafio, from trees of the Villa Sarchi variety of Arabica, and processed by the honey method, in which some of the fruit flesh is left on the beans during the drying process. A sweetly spice-toned honey-processed Costa Rica coffee with lovely floral and stone fruit notes throughout.
