Delicately rich, deeply sweet. Toffee, mulberry, cedar, roasted cacao nib, rhododendron-like flowers in aroma and cup. Balanced, sweet-tart acidity; plush, buoyantly creamy mouthfeel. The crisply cocoa-toned finish is redolent of almond and rhododendron.
Produced by Don Uriel Solarte, this coffee took sixth place out of 500 coffees in the 2016 Best of Cauca competition organized by Banexport and Cafe Imports. Greater Goods was founded in 2015; its mission is to enrich the lives of coffee-drinkers through passion, creativity, innovation and a commitment to the consistency of the specialty coffee the company roasts as well as to the local causes supported by its proceeds. A refined, balanced, sweetly tart Colombia cup, animated by cocoa notes throughout.
