Blind Assessment
(As brewed in a Keurig B70 Platinum single-serve brewing device using a Keurig-compatible capsule to produce a 6-ounce serving): Delicate, crisp. Dark chocolate, walnut, a hint of fennel-like herb in aroma and cup. Delicate, subdued acidity; smooth, lightly syrupy mouthfeel. Some chocolate and walnut survives in a simple, sweet-toned finish.
Notes
This blend is 100% Rainforest Alliance certified, meaning the blend components were produced following sustainable ecological and socio-economic criteria developed by the Sustainable Agricultural Network, a coalition of independent, environment-focused non-governmental organizations. Caribou Coffee is a large (second largest in the U.S. after Starbucks) retail roasting chain based in the upper Middle West whose rather irreverent motto "Life is short. Stay awake for it" belies a serious approach to coffee. Visit
Who Should Drink It
A mild but crisp, chocolate-walnut-toned cup for Keurig owners.
