Blind Assessment

Reviewed as espresso. Overall sweet-toned, deep, almost flawlessly balanced. Apricot, flowers, dark chocolate in the aroma. In the small cup medium-bodied, very smooth in mouthfeel, delicate but complex: flowers, orange, chocolate, a hint of tart coffee fruit. Very smooth finish. In two parts hot milk the orange-toned chocolate blooms richly.

Notes

Processed by the traditional Brazilian natural or dry method, meaning the beans were dried with both skin and fruit still adhering to the bean. Chapadao de Ferro or "Plateau of Iron" no doubt received its name because of the local soil's rich mineral content. Based in the greater Toronto area, Social Coffee & Tea Company is dedicated to providing high-quality, fresh-roasted "Glorious Coffees for the People." Who Should Drink It

A poised and complete single-origin espresso with impressive versatility.
