Blind Assessment: Evaluated as espresso. Delicately fruit-forward, floral-toned. Raspberry jam, cocoa nib, cherry blossom, cedar, molasses in aroma and small cup. Satiny mouthfeel; sweetly tart, fruit-driven finish. In cappuccino-scaled milk, cocoa notes are amplified and tart fruit notes round to gentle sweetness.
Notes: A blend of three coffees — a washed and a natural-processed Ethiopia and a natural El Salvador — roasted for espresso applications. Regent Coffee was established in 2017 in Glendale, California. With more than 10 years of roasting experience, Regent strives to deliver coffee with care and purpose. The Bottom Line: An appealingly floral, fruit-centered espresso blend with pleasing cocoa impulses providing ballast for the high-toned berry notes.
