Blind Assessment

Richly bittersweet, fruity. Guava, walnut, kefir, scorched redwood, lemon curd in aroma and cup. Complex, sweet-savory structure with fruit-toned acidity; lightly satiny mouthfeel. Crisply tart, nutty finish.

Notes

A blend composed of four coffees: two from Colombia, one washed and one honey processed; a natural Panama; and a washed Papua New Guinea. Balmy Day Coffee Office is a specialty nano-roastery based in Taoyuan, Taiwan. For more information, visit facebook.com/Balmydaycoffee.

Bottom Line

An exceptionally bright dark-roast coffee complicated by crisp nut and rich aromatic wood notes.
