100% Kona Medium Roast
|Roaster Location:||Pasadena, California|
|Coffee Origin:||Kona growing district, "Big Island" of Hawaii.|
|Review Date:||April 2006|
Blind Assessment: Pungent, spicy or perhaps smoky aroma, with caramel notes and a hint of apple. In the cup rather sharply acidy with very distinct caramel notes and not much else. A bright, simple, limited coffee.
Notes: Trader Joe's is an innovative discount gourmet chain currently with stores in twenty states, but no mail order. Visit
Who Should Drink It: Those who prefer it keep it simple, even if it's from Kona.
