Blind Assessment:

Richly sweet-savory, cocoa-toned. Apricot, cocoa nib, maple syrup, jasmine, hint of marjoram in aroma and cup. Sweetly savory in structure with pert acidity; plush, syrupy mouthfeel. Rich, resonant finish that leads with apricot and jasmine in the short, rounding to crisp cocoa nib in the long.

Certified organic. Produced entirely from trees of the admired Bourbon variety of Arabica. A washed-process coffee (fruit is removed before drying). Hala Tree Coffee is a family-owned organic Kona coffee farm located near Captain Cook village, in the heart of the Kona coffee belt, overlooking historic Kealakekua Bay. The Bottom Line: An inviting cup from the classic Bourbon variety as grown in Kona, complex and sweet-savory.
