Blind Assessment:

Crisply sweet, delicate, balanced but simple. Molasses, raisin, freshly cut fir, a hint of hazelnut in aroma and cup. Crisp, though rather muted, acidity; silky, but very light, mouthfeel. Sweet in the finish, though drying and rather woody.

Purchased pre-ground in a 12-ounce foil bag with one-way degassing valve at a Safeway supermarket in northern California. Safeway Kitchens is a brand of Safeway. Safeway is the second-largest supermarket chain in the United States, with nearly 2,200 stores in western and central United States and western Canada. Visit www.safeway.com for more information.

Who Should Drink It: Great price, but not much other reason to buy this sweet-toned but rather listless pre-ground Colombia.
