Reviews for Peet's Coffee
Crisply sweet-savory. Dark chocolate, charred mesquite, gardenia, dried persimmon, dark caramel in aroma and cup. Bittersweet structure with barely perceptible acidity; gently drying, chocolaty and wood-framed finish.
Rather dry, wood-framed, bittersweet. Scorched fir, cocoa powder, condensed milk, lily, raisin in aroma and cup. Bittersweet structure with rather rough acidity; crisp, satiny mouthfeel. Dry, wood-framed finish with notes of cocoa powder and scorched fir.
Very roast-prominent, chocolaty and spiced-toned. Chocolate, charred mesquite, date, baking spices, dark caramel in aroma and cup. Sweet-toned structure with a bitter edge; full though drying mouthfeel. The finish, while sweet, is dominated by burned wood notes that obscure the underlying chocolate and fruit.
Mild, sweetly pungent. Apricot, brown sugar, hints of dark chocolate and lily in aroma and cup. Round, backgrounded acidity; plump mouthfeel. Flavor makes a rather faint last stand in a quiet finish.
