Sweetly bright, lyric, exhilarating. Honey, peach, tangerine, night-blooming flowers, a hint of roasted cacao nib in aroma and cup. Deeply sweet, resonantly tart acidity; syrupy mouthfeel. The dry chocolate of the cacao nib note moves forward in a flavor-saturated finish.

Notes

This lot is comprised entirely of the much admired, bold-bean Pacamara variety of Arabica, a cross between the giant-beaned Maragogipe variety and Pacas, a selection of the heirloom Bourbon. This coffee was prepared by the honey method, meaning the skin was removed from the coffee fruit immediately after picking but the beans or seeds were dried with at least some of the fruit pulp or “honey” still adhering to them.
