Notes

A richly expansive, deeply dimensioned coffee, caramelly, smooth, with an elegant balance of slightly bitter roasty notes, sweetness, and a gently fruity acidity. Produced by a famous cooperative, "La Voz qui Clama en el Desierto" (The Voice that Cries in the Wilderness), this coffee is grown by hundreds of indigenous farmers on tiny plots on the volcanic slopes above Lake Atitlan.

Who Should Drink It

Everyone, though its balance and natural sweetness probably makes it most attractive to those who take their coffee black or with modest amounts of whitener or sugar.
