Blind Assessment
Exquisitely floral and fruit-forward. Star jasmine, white peach, lemongrass basil, myrrh in aroma and cup. Sparkling acidity; vibrantly satiny mouthfeel. Exceptional long, coherent, compelling finish.
Notes
Produced by Sebastian Ramirez of Fincas El Placer, entirely of the Geisha variety of Arabica, and processed by the white honey method, in which a small amount of fruit flesh is left on the beans during the drying process. Heady Cup is an Illinois-based specialty roaster with a focus on sustainability and sourcing traceable green coffees. Visit www.headycup.com for more information.
Bottom Line
An elegant and ethereal cup that seems both rare and accessible — floral notes drive everything that follows; it’s high-toned and confidently poised.
