Blind Assessment
Quietly bright, balanced. Grapefruit, fresh pipe tobacco, nougat, pink peppercorn, fresh cedar in aroma and cup. Roundly and sweetly and tart in structure; smooth in mouthfeel. Grapefruit and sweet pipe tobacco notes carry into a subtly lively finish.
Notes
Not a blend, but a single-origin coffee produced by OsoMujer Women Producers in Timana, Huila Department, from Castillo, Caturra and Colombia tree varieties, and processed by the washed method (fruit skin and pulp removed before drying). Decaffeinated by the ethyl acetate (EA) process in Colombia. Intuition Coffee is a specialty roaster and cafe based in Peoria, Illinois. Visit www.intuitioncoffee.com for more information.
Bottom Line
Grapefruity, gently tart. A cold brew candidate?
