Blind Assessment
Evaluated as espresso. Balanced, aromatic and polished. Plum, vanilla, baking chocolate and sugarcane sweetness in aroma and cup, with a throughline of fermented Concord grape. Silky, vibrant mouthfeel; quietly tart, jammy finish. In cappuccino format, chocolate is amplified and fruit rounds into caramel-like sweetness.
Notes
A single-origin coffee from Thailand, produced at Bluekoff Coffee Plantation and processed onsite by the washed anaerobic method, in which the fermentation step occurs in a hermetically sealed vessel before the beans are washed and dried. Bluekoff is a Thai company involved in all aspects of coffee, from milling and roasting to coffee wholesale and retail and related equipment and training services. Bluekoff produces more than 1,200 tons of green coffee and 1,000 tons of roasted coffee per year. Visit www.bluekoff.com or email info@bluekoff.com or call +66-819799565 for more information.
Bottom Line
A composed washed-anaerobic Thailand SOE that presents layered fruit and chocolate in the straight shot, shifting toward a smooth, confection-leaning profile in milk.
