Blind Assessment
Smooth, warmly spice-toned. Caramel, baking chocolate, roasted pecan, dried cherry, gently scorched cedar in aroma and cup. Gentle, round acidity; creamy, substantial body. The finish centers notes of cocoa, roasted pecans, and gently smoky cedar.
Notes
Produced by smallholding farmers in Central and South America (including Fidalgo partner Tierra Nueva’s Honduras farm) and processed by the washed method (fruit skin and pulp removed before drying). Certified Kosher. Fidalgo Coffee is a specialty roaster based in Burlington, Washington. It partners with Tierra Nueva, a mission-based nonprofit that employs formerly incarcerated people and trains them to re-enter the workforce. Visit www.fidalgocoffee.com for more information.
Bottom Line
A friendly, rich-toned blend that offers classic chocolate-and-nut comfort with gentle lift from stone fruit brightness.
