Blind Assessment
Lush, fruit-driven, spice-toned. Pomegranate, ripe blackberry, clove, sandalwood, dark chocolate in aroma and cup. Sweetly tart structure with a vibrant, juicy acidity; lightly silky mouthfeel. Finish is long and resonant, with fruit and spice notes lingering alongside dark chocolate notes.
Notes
Produced by smallholding farmers, from trees of the Catimor, Timtim, Bourbon, Ateng Super and P-88 varieties of Arabica, and processed by the natural method (dried in the whole fruit). Bottom Line
A characteristically complex natural-processed Sumatra — deeply fruity yet balanced by spice and chocolate undertones — showcasing both the intensity and nuance of the Gayo Highlands.
