Blind Assessment
Balanced and quietly expressive. Red apple, orange zest, chamomile, hazelnut and cocoa powder in aroma and cup. Bright, juicy acidity; satiny mouthfeel. Gently sweet finish with citrus and nut tones.
Notes
Produced by smallholding farmers, from trees of the Bourbon and Typica varieties of Arabica, and processed by the washed method (fruit skin and pulp removed before drying). Bows Coffee Roasters is a Victoria, BC-based roaster with two cafés. Visit www.bowscoffee.com for more information.
Bottom Line
A refined washed Oaxaca coffee that highlights structure and clarity, offering understated fruit and floral notes anchored by soft cocoa sweetness.
