Blind Assessment
Grounded and sweetly structured. Asian pear, almond butter, honeycomb, pomelo and cocoa powder in aroma and cup. Rounded, gently buoyant acidity; full, plush body. The finish settles into nutty sweetness with soft cocoa tones.
Notes
Produced by Emilio López Díaz, entirely of the Pacamara variety of Arabica, and processed by the washed method (fruit skin and pulp removed before drying). Proud Mary Coffee was founded in Melbourne in 2009 by Australian couple Nolan and Shari Hirte, who moved the operation to Portland in 2017. Proud Mary combines the innovative spirit of Melbourne’s coffee culture with Portland’s adventurous taste buds. . Visit www.proudmarycoffee.com for more information.
Bottom Line
A solid, comforting Pacamara that favors weight and balance over flash, delivering composed fruit and nut character with a satisfying, chocolate-leaning depth.
