Blind Assessment
Vibrant, fruit-saturated, and candy-sweet. Pineapple, mango, cocoa nib, jasmine candy, Meyer lemon zest in aroma and cup. Juicy, balanced acidity; plush, syrupy mouthfeel. The finish is long and resonant, carrying tropical fruit brightness and confectionery sweetness into the chocolaty long.
Notes
This exceptional coffee was selected as the No. 27 coffee on Coffee Review’s list of the Top 50 Coffees of 2025. Produced by Oscar Abad of Finca La Palma, entirely of the Geisha variety of Arabica, and processed by the washed method (fruit skin and pulp removed before drying). Bottom Line
A radiant washed Geisha from northern Peru — bursting with tropical fruit and candy-like sweetness, yet refined and balanced, offering both exuberance and elegance in equal measure.
