Blind Assessment
Graceful, richly floral-toned. White peach, lemon blossom, cocoa nib, pear and chamomile in aroma and cup. Softly bright acidity; syrupy, viscous mouthfeel. The finish is long and elegant, carrying layered stone fruit and citrus blossom notes with a gentle cocoa underpinning.
Notes
Produced by Ronal Carranza Montenegro of Guardian del Bosque, entirely of the Gesha variety of Arabica, and processed by the washed method (fruit skin and pulp removed before drying). City Boy Coffee is a specialty roaster based in Long Island City, New York. Visit www.cityboycoffee.com for more information.
Bottom Line
A quietly complex, richly layered washed Peru Gesha that emphasizes balance and elegance, offering delicate florals, nuanced fruit and remarkable persistence.
