Blind Assessment
Sweetly balanced, gently fruit-toned. Red apple, almond butter, cocoa powder, orange blossom and honey in aroma and cup. Mildly bright acidity; smooth, creamy-smooth body. The finish is clean and lingering, offering notes of cocoa, sweet citrus and toasted almond.
Notes
Produced by Irene Herrera of Finca La Mandarina, entirely of the Marshell variety of Arabica, and processed by the washed method (fruit skin and pulp removed before drying). Beanberry Coffee has a roastery in Woking, Surrey, and two cafes, one in London and one in Kingston upon Thames. Visit www.beanberrycoffee.com for more information.
Bottom Line
A delightful washed Marshell from Cajamarca Department that emphasizes sweetness, balance and nutty depth, delivering a comforting cup layered with gentle fruit, floral nuance and cocoa depth.
