Blind Assessment
Intensely floral, fruit-saturated. Notes of guava, jasmine, blood orange zest, raw honey and cocoa nib in aroma and cup. High-toned, intricately layered acidity; very syrupy, nectar-like mouthfeel. The finish is long and perfumed, with guava sweetness, citrus zest and a subtle cocoa nib undercurrent.
Notes
Produced by Paola Trujillo, entirely of the Wush Wush variety of Arabica, and processed by the anaerobic natural method (fermented in an oxygen-free environment, then dried in the whole fruit). JBC Coffee Roasters’ vision is simple: “let the coffee lead the way” through sourcing and roasting the best and most unique coffees available and rewarding the farmers who grow those coffees with substantial premiums. Bottom Line
A show-stopping Wush Wush — vivid, aromatic and structurally elegant, marrying anaerobic fruit saturation with floral depth and impressive composure.
