Blind Assessment
Lushly floral-toned, engagingly complex. Guava, star jasmine, magrut lime, cocoa nib, hyssop in aroma and cup. Sparkling, phosphoric acidity; vibrant, syrupy mouthfeel. Decadently long, satiating finish.
Notes
This exceptional coffee was selected as the No. 19 coffee on Coffee Review’s list of the Top 50 Coffees of 2025. Produced at Hacienda La Esmeralda, entirely of the Geisha variety of Arabica, and processed by a proprietary washed method that involves 72 hours of cold fermentation after de-pulping, then temperature- and humidity-controlled drying for 10 days. Euphora is a Taipei-based specialty coffee roaster with an active online community through which all sales are made. Visit www.euphoracoffeestudio.com for more information.
Bottom Line
This extravagant and complex Panama Geisha is rife with spice-toned florals, tropical fruit and an addictive bright but balanced acidity that, in the cup, reads like magrut lime.
