Blind Assessment
Extraordinary: soaringly floral, intensely fruit-driven, almost weightless in its complexity. Jasmine, raspberry, lychee, pink grapefruit and vanilla bean in aroma and cup. Electrifying yet seamless acidity; buoyant, satiny-smooth mouthfeel. The finish seems endless, continually revealing fresh layers of floral, berry and complex citrus notes.
Notes
This coffee won 1st place (Gold) in the Traditional Natural category, International division, of the inaugural Kenneth Davids Cup. Produced by the Lamastus Family of Elida Estate (at its Loma Centro Farm), entirely of the Geisha variety of Arabica, and processed by the natural method (dried in the whole fruit). Euphora is a Taipei-based specialty coffee roaster with an active online community through which all sales are made. Visit www.euphoracoffeestudio.com for more information.
Bottom Line
A breathtaking Panama Geisha of astonishing aromatic intensity and precision — exuberant enough to command attention, yet so refined and structurally complete that every element feels inevitable.
