Blind Assessment
Fresh and gently bright. Cedar, cashew, pear, cocoa, and a delicate whiff of spirits — white rum, perhaps —in aroma and cup. Subtly and sweetly tart in structure; supple in mouthfeel. Flavor consolidates around rum-toned cocoa in the quiet, sweet finish.
Notes
This version of the Mocha-Java recipe turns from the Old World to the New, combining a fruit-forward natural-processed coffee from Colombia with a washed-processed Nicaragua. Roast House is a small-batch, quality-focused roaster specializing in farm-direct organic-certified and fair-trade certified coffees. Bottom Line
A lively, delicate version of the Mocha-Java-style cup with a hint of tropical spirits.
